Six and a half years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. My chances were less than 50-50 for survival but I was determined to go right on creating ART because I had a lot of creativity still left inside. It was right after my mastectomy that I began creating small pieces of art called ACEOs. Their small baseball card size made it so much easier for me to paint since it didn't require me lifting up my right arm. I stopped making them in 2009 when I realized that painting pictures wasn't as much fun as making art on the computer and then using that to make artisan jewelry.
So now, every day, I try and make a piece of jewelry that makes me smile. Whether it is done on the computer or on a scrap of watercolor paper ...creating art is what keeps me alive! The artisan pendants I sell on Storenvy, eBay, Etsy and eCrater are the result of combining my passion for art and the wear ability of that art!
